When Israel's Defense Minister speaks in such a shameful manner, he can be sure that the Negev will never become a priority or a possible site of habitation for most Jews. Barak is grotesque. A Jew is a Jew, whether he lives in the South, the North, or in the liberated hills of Yehudah and Shomron. And until we have national leaders who recognize this most basic of Jewish principles, (its called Ahavat Yisroel, Ehud!), we are truly in trouble.
