A while ago, Moshe Feiglin and his army of "Feiglinites" declared a victory when a court ruled that Netanyahu couldn't legally postpone the upcoming elections for the Likud Central Committee. The Feiglinites were arguing that the decision favored them, because the Likud base was essentially made up of Feiglin supporters who were about to take over the party. Delusional nonsense like that. Utterly irrelevant now, because the Supreme Court overturned the court's ruling several weeks back, in favor of Bibi's postponement. The so-called "hawks" of the Likud party had another pie thrown in their face. MK, Danny Danon argued that time was on their side, because the Likud base still wants "democracy." I don't know whether or not Danny is correct. But I'm pretty certain of one thing. The Likud base doesn't want Judaism.
If the Likud base was as normal as Danon and Feiglin keep insisting, why is Netanyahu even in power? Were they indeed normal, Netanyahu would be touring the speaking circuit now as a self-proclaimed expert on terrorism, appearing as a guest on Fox News and Sean Hannity's radio show, rather than destroying the country.
Feiglin is so foolish that he's dangerous. Despite having struck out again for the umpteenth time, Feiglin is spinning it as proof that Netanyahu is afraid of him. In the meantime, the same clowns who always tell us that 'we're irrelevant and that we're standing on the sidelines', are standing on the same sidelines as the rest of us who realize that the current political scene is a sham. The only difference is that we still have our integrity. And we don't have the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katiff on our hands.
Moshe Feiglin isn't finished. If the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katiff didn't teach him anything, then nothing will. The only question is, what ruse will Feiglin cook up to keep his parade of fools going.
Shabbat Shalom.
