"The Maccabeats" Revisited

I first wrote about the Maccabeats in December, when they posted their irritating Chanukah video on YouTube and registered an incredible amount of hits. I don't want to regurgitate my original post which addresses why I maintain that this "Jewish" boy-band constitutes a danger to Judaism, (not to mention, an affront to good music). If you're interested, check out, Hellenism Personified- the "Maccabeats" . But if there weren't enough reasons to dislike them, here's another one. And its a whopper.

As the author of "The Jewish Fist" blog, I keep tabs on various x-tian missionaries. During some recent research, I discovered to my horror that one missionary group in particular had posted the Maccabeats recent Purim video on their website. Heres' a screen capture of this outrage:

This is a standard tactic of the missionaries, who use any method to lure Jews. Deception, deceit, distortion, and downright lying. The use and obvious misuse of traditional Jewish symbols, stereotypes, humor, aspects of Jewish folk culture, and Jewish pop icons (such as the Maccabeats). Naturally, I immediately emailed the Maccabeats to apprise them of this development. I waited a few days, and when I hadn't heard from them, I sent another email. Still no response a week later. So I sent another email. And still I wait.

I am not suggesting that the Maccabeats are any way connected to, or supportive of missionaries. I don't believe that. What I am suggesting is that they aren't bothered when a notorious missionary group posts their Purim video on their website. I am suggesting that egotism coupled with a whopping mega dose of galuti "Torah Umada" and general screwed up deot has rendered them apathetic and disinterest to issues of genuine Jewish import, such as the blatant unauthorized misuse of one of their videos by missionaries to prey on Jewish souls. 

Don' tell me that they haven't checked their email. Nonsense. The Maccabeats are performing across the U.S. at many Jewish events, (including private semachot) and without a doubt, they are making good money for their performances. They are the Jewish equivalent of the Backstreet boys, and they're not about to lose a gig because they forgot to check their email. They're reading their emails. They just don't give a damn.

The Maccabeats couldn't have a more ill-suited name. If the Maccabees had listened to this fruity garbage, they would've been killed on the battlefield. The Maccabeats themselves would have fared worse. With their effeminate music and mannerisms, they would have been made into dancing boys by their pederast Greek captors. It's ironic that the Maccabeats put out music videos for Jewish holidays, which commemorate the victory of the Jewish soul and body respectively, over our spiritual and physical oppressors. They haven't a clue about either festival. The Maccabeats epitomize the disease of American "modern-orthodoxy" which isn't content to merely wallow in the material mire of the diaspora, but even worse, celebrates it as a virtue. 

Whether fighting those who would destroy our souls, or those who would cut our throats, the Maccabeats have nothing to offer young Jews, other than a whole lot of screwed up deot and distorted notions of gender identity. A word of advice for all Abas and would be Abas. Giving your son a Maccabeats CD is like giving him a Barbie doll (or Ken doll) for Chanukah. Do so at your own risk. And his.

Boycott the Maccabeats. Preserve the legacy of Purim and Chanukah. 


As far as missionary groups such as the Rosh Pinah Project go, you already know my stance. See what the Torah states about idolaters. One who preys on the Jewish soul is like one who preys on the Jewish body. Both are types of vermin that need to be destroyed. With G-d's help, the day will soon come when the Law of the Torah is applied against them all. Totally, without compromise, and without any mercy. May we see it in our times.

Meimad Revisited

Its been awhile since I wrote about the leftist Israeli Meimad political party, which purports to be a religious one. For those who don't know about them, Meimad is one of the most vulgar examples of Hellenism masquerading as religious Judaism. In the following video, a babbling kipah wearing British eunuch, attempts to reconcile the clash of being religious and having leftist positions. What this fools fails to understand is that the number of morons who subscribe to such nonsense, doesn't make the marriage of Torah and treif pluralism any more kosher. Another classic moment in this video clip can be seen when the head buffoon Michael Melchior offers his position on national security. According to Melchior, Iran is the only entity that poses an existential threat to Israel. Why is it that the biggest fools wearing kipot on their heads always hail from Europe?

The Authentic Chanukah

If the Maccabees were around today, Netanyahu would stand up on national television and declare them to be public enemy #1. Forget about Hamas, Hezbollah,  Syria, or even Iran for that matter. Certainly not Fatah. Netanyahu and Ehud Barak would declare total war and send an army of Yassamnikim capos and border police to destroy them. No tactic would be considered too dirty in the war against the Maccabees. The Shabak would have an entire division devoted to infiltrating the movement. 


The leftists would scream hysterically for Maccabee blood, and applaud the most brutal crackdowns. The media and academia would soak the minds of the masses in rabid anti-Maccabee propaganda. Across th world secular Jewish organizations and their self-appointed leaders would revile the Maccabees. The Anti- Defamation League would jump into the fray and volunteer their assistance to various U.S. and Israeli government agencies, in the war against the Maccabees.


Mainstream religious Jewish organizations would condemn them. Respected Rabbis would declare that their actions were a chillul Hashem and contrary to Halachah. Respectable "modern-orthodoxy" would unanimously blacklist them. Representatives of the Maccabee movement would be banned from speaking in most religious institutions. In Israel, the state worshiping mamlachtim would similarly condemn them with the harshest terminology.The chareidim would have no part of them. "This is the way of the goyim", they would declare. "Draft deferments and child allowances are the only to defeat the chilonim." 


Only a small group of Jews would openly join the Maccabees. But in private, a great many more would sympathize with them. Some things never change. 


Why do I write these things? Isn't Chanukah universally enjoyed by Jews across the religious divide? It is. But Jews celebrate a false Chanukah that has nothing in common with the historical reality. Here's a reminder to those who haven't absorbed the lesson of Chanukah. Chanukah isn't a universal "festival of lights" for Jews to share with the gentile world. The Maccabees weren't multiculturalists fighting for religious freedom. They were Jewish zealots who waged a brutal war against the Greek swine who tried to destroy the Jewish soul.


And it wasn't just the Greeks. Let's be honest for a moment. The Maccabees fought violently against Jewish hellenists, who were trying to contaminate the Torah. When Matityahu saw a Jew publicly defiling The Almighty's name in the town of Modiin, he didn't respect the man's ability "to worship as he saw fit." He slaughtered the gentilized Jew with his sword and started a revolutionary inferno. And Yahadut lionizes him and his sons for sanctifying the Almighty's name and saving Judaism from extinction. Of course history is for the victors. So we celebrate Chanukah because Judaism survived. The irony is that Hellenists revised history, and Chanukah is considered parve today.


Is Chanukah for you?

• If you support the concept of interfaith-dialogue with x-tians and taking money from evangelicals, then Chanukah really isn't the chag for you.

•  If you proudly declare that Israel grants equal rights to its citizens and allows all faiths to worship, you should boycott Chanukah. Were he alive, Matityahu would burn down every mosque, church, and Bahai temple that defiles the Holy Land. Forget about spitting at "messianic Jews". He would've slaughtered them. If the image of burning mosques and churches upsets you, then yours is a different Chanukah than the one that was originally celebrated by the Maccabees. 

• If you support a woman's right to abort a fully formed fetus on the altar of free choice, you're a Hellenist, not a Maccabee. Feminists should protest Chanukah.  

• If you believe that homosexuals have the right to prance through the streets of Jerusalem, Chanukah is not your cup of tea. The rampant homosexuality of the Greeks was another virus that the Maccabees warred against. The sanctity of the Jewish family and the holy expression of permitted sexuality is central to Jewish thinking. Be honest about Chanukah instead of perverting it.

Chanukah symbolizes Judaism's complete rejection of the profane influences of the world. It represents the commitment to use the sword in defense of the Jewish body and soul.  This is the Chanukah that leftists want to destroy. Any proud, self-respecting, knowledgeable Jew basks in this reality. Only one who has been contaminated by 2000+ years of exile chooses to deny this, distort it, or reject it.


The legacy of the true Maccabees lives on. And the day will come when Jews embrace it and incorporate the Maccabee model as the solution to destroying the Arab enemy and sanctifying the State of Israel. In the meantime, continue to learn Torah and perform mitzvot. But take care of  your Jewish body. Strengthen it, so that you can be a good Jew. Don't worship it. Sanctify it for Kiddush Hashem. Forge it with iron and stone. Take a walk with an 80 pound sandbag on your back. Practice stick fighting, sword fighting, whatever your game. Go to the range and become a crack shot that would make Matityahu proud. One day soon, a new generation of Maccabees will arise.Good Jews will want to join them. Prepare yourself now.

Hellenism Personified- the "Maccabeats"

I get physically ill just watching this garbage that's been circulating around the web. It's bad enough that the music is so bad, and that the effeminate singers in this "Jewish" boy-band act like a bunch of sissies. But it's much worse than that. This is hellenism personifed. Copycatting the worst elements of gentile society. Boy-bands. Pop music. Gender confusion. Role reversal. Forget about surgically attaching a piece of skin to recreate a foreskin. This is the metaphorical equivalent of cutting one's genitals off. What do we have here? A group of modern-orthodox guys wiggling and prancing about like a troupe of fairies, singing euro-trash music about Chanukah. What do these clowns know about the Maccabees? The Maccabees fought against the kinds of gentile influences that penetrated the Torah world and allowed the formation of Jewish boy-bands like the Maccabeats. And don't get me started. The yeshivish versions of these boy-bands are just as bad and un-Jewish. The difference is that in the modern-orthodox world this kind of stuff is celebrated and praised. Instead of creating the next generation of  scholar-warriors, the modern-orthodox movement is creating these types of gender challenged individuals to further skew the lesson of Chanukah and disgrace The Almighty's name on the world stage.

With Elena Kagan now sitting on the bench as an unelected, appointee for life, America's descent  into the cesspool of liberalism and moral relativism will continue unabated. As these activist justices take even more brazen steps to trample upon everything decent, America will become a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah. It's always nauseating to see liberals so happy, but this particular selection is even more upsetting because of Kagan's  Jewishness. And the Jewish libs are shepping such orgiastic nachas over this leftist monstrosity. Imagine having to look at this mug for another 30 years?

Ehud Barak: Enemy of The Almighty (audio)

Reflections on Israel's morally and mentally defective Minister of Defense, Ehud Barak. A grotesque weasel of a man who won't fight the Arabs, but enjoys spending his time cooking up schemes to destroying life in Judea and Samaria and sending the Yassamnikim capos to beat up Jews. Apparently this traitor thinks that these sadistic thugs are his personal militia to satisfy his blood-lust. Forget about being the Minister of Defense. Why is this pudgy faced, androgynous, sadist not in jail? Barak represents the true face of the "mixed multitude".

Two Screwballs Down, Many More To Go.

It's always nice to see two Jewish traitors kick the bucket in the same week. First Moshe Hirsch and then David Foreman, may the names and memories of these self-hating deviants be erased. Although they came from opposite ends of the diseased Jewish spectrum, both were enemies of the Torah, who followed the path of their warped ideologies and aided the Arabs/Muslims in their quest to destroy Am Yisroel. Both men easily earned the terrible title of "mosrim" (informers), which carries the ultimate Halachic price.

Forman is dead, and I couldn't be happier. The old Talmudic debate is moot. It would have been better for this pervert never to have been born. In his capacity as an activist, educator, writer, and Reform "rabbi", Forman was committed to the destruction of yahadut, and supplanting it with his skewed pluralistic Hellenized ideology. A self-loathing lemming, Forman dedicated his life to destroying Jewish souls through his distorted teachings masquerading as Judaism. It didn't help matters that he had a regular forum to disseminate his toxin in Israel's "right-wing" rag, The Jerusalem Post.

Like many Hellenists who purport to fight for "human rights" (always at the expense of Jews), Forman had Jewish blood on his hands. He humanized the Arabs and demoralized Israel with his constant attempts to spread his brand of "humanistic","pluralistic", and "enlightened Judaism". And so naturally, when Peres and Rabin illegally rammed the treasonous Oslo Accords down Israel's throat, Forman became one of its strongest supporters. And he never stopped battling the Torah until the very end.

Here are some of Forman's accomplishments. Further evidence that the "mixed multitude" isn't lazy:

• Ordained as a "rabbi" of the Cincinnati Campus of Hebrew Union College in 1972. Made aliyah that same year, at which point he went on to spread his poison to the Israeli masses as a prominent member of the "mixed multitude."

• Longtime writer for The Jerusalem Post, where he was given a forum to destroy the minds of confused Israelis with his goyish ideas of pacifism and peace and "The Tao of the Jewish Eunuch."

• Director of the Israel office of the Union for Reform Judaism (1976-2003), where he used his position to battle for the destruction of Halacha, and supplant it with Hellenism and western pluralism.

• Chairman of Interns for Peace (1984-1986). Enough said.

• Keynoted Nobel Institute Conference on "The Role of Religion In ME Peacemaking".

• Member of Israeli delegation to the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony for the three headed peace monster of Peres, Rabin, and Arafat. That worked really well.

• Founded Rabbis for Human Rights in 1988, Chairman (1988-92, 2002-03)-Fought for the rights of self-loathing Jews and Arabs. Human rights for me, not for thee.

• Longtime critic of the Leftist State of Israel. Apparently it wasn't leftist enough for him.

First Moshe Hirsch and now David Forman. You know what would really make my week. If the screwball from Tekoah, "rabbi" Menachem Fruman kicked the bucket. It would be like the "Triple Crown" of Jewish nachas. The oddball sicko who regularly meets with Arab terrorists (and hugs and kisses them) was in the news again, after he visited an Arab village to show his disgust over an alleged arson attack against one of their mosques. (Even the police don't believe it was arson. But naturally, Fruman and his hosts disagree.) Fruman even offered to bring along some of his loony followers next time around to repair the mosque:

"The torching of a mosque, according to Jewish halacha, is equal to the torching of a synagogue. I will bring dozens of settlers to repair the burnt mosque."

Really? Where did you get your semichah, screwball? Every time I see Fruman in the news, one thought comes to my mind. This fruitcake is definitely working for the Shabak

"You must drive out all the Land's inhabitants before you....Clear out the Land and live in it, since it is you that I am giving the Land to occupy...If you do not drive out the Land's inhabitants, those who remain shall be as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides, causing you troubles in the Land that you settle. i will then do to you what originally planned to do to them." (Numbers, 33:52-53, 55-56) By the way, both the Targum Yerushalmi and the Sforno translate the phrase- "drive them out" as annihilate.

As far as showing tolerance for other religions, there is a halachic obligation to tear down the altars and houses of worship of any other religion in the land of Israel, be it pagan or monotheistic. It may be politically incorrect, but its the Halachah nevertheless. We know that when the Jews first entered the land of Israel, they sinned not only by allowing the Canaanites to remain in the land, but also because they neglected to destroy their altars.

'The angel of the L-rd came up from Gilgal to Bochim and said, "I made you go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the Land which I swore unto to your fathers, and I said....'You shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land. You shall smash their altars..."(Judges 2:1-2)

But I digress. Menachem Fruman may still have a pulse (unfortunately), but at least David Forman is gone. The Reform movement is mourning one of their most seasoned advocates. Here's some advice. Anytime you see the "erev rav" sitting shivah, you know that a celebration is in order. Unfortunately I ran out of beer, and I couldn't find the corkscrew, so I'll have to postpone the obligatory l'chaim until I get a cold one in my hands. Stay tuned.

Rockets Cause Anxiety- An Academic Study (audio)

If our tax dollars paid for this study, I'd like my money back.

I have relatives who sustained a direct hit to their house from a Grad rocket during "Operation Cast Lead". Thank G-d, everyone was in the shelter when it landed. I visited them on Yom Haatzmaut, and although the house has since been repaired (I did have a chance shortly after the war to witness the damage), the tool shed remains a testament to the destruction. Hundreds of holes, large and small, litter the shed, in addition to an adjoining stone wall, courtesy of shrapnel shards that pierced their walls. Some holes are at neck and skull level, and if a person was in the vicinity, that would be the end of them.

During the day, I had an opportunity to see and actually hold the remains of two large Kassam rockets that the Hamas-Nazis launched from Gaza. (The Grad that hit their house was immediately confiscated by the IDF, and probably given to some leftist peace eunuch who will go on to create metal peace doves out of the remains.) As I held the very same rockets that were crafted by soulless Arab beasts with the sole intent of killing Jews and spilling as much of our blood as possible, I was filled with rage. To think what Amalek is getting away with, because of our flaccid weak-kneed leaders who refuse to destroy these blood-thirsty creatures and transfer the rest of the Arab populace out of the country. Hellenistic eunuchs who refuse to liberate and annex every inch of Jewish soil. "No Arabs, No bombs" is not just the catchy phrase on a popular t-shirt. It also happens to be the Halachah. As long as there are Arabs in Israel, Jews will be murdered by Arabs, and we will never be free men.

Nor is mere freedom from man an ends in itself. The only free man is the G-d fearing one who is solely concerned with the requirements of the Torah. May we become free men in the near future, so that the next time the chag comes around, we can refer to ourselves as being truly independent of man and men, and as genuine Servants of The Almighty.

Perhaps some day soon, the IDF will have a real man at the helm who will unshackle the soldiers and allow them to fight the enemy, in the manner that the Torah demands we fight a war. Proper vengeance against our enemies will help cleanse the collective Jewish soul. Tikkun Olam with an M-16, if you will. And on that day, there won't be any question at all about the Halachic requirement. Hallel with a brachah.

On Jewish Remembrance

What has Yom HaZikaron become? A day of remembering our fallen soldiers, but forgetting why they fell. Remembering those who paid the ultimate price, but forgetting who killed them. A day of commemorating the concept of sacrifice, but forgetting the nature of the sacrifice. A day of solemn military ceremonies, haunting songs, sirens, and of little else. Not a day of remembrance, but one of forgetting the most important lessons of all. That the Arab and Islamic savages are still trying to kill us. That they want to flood the streets of Tel Aviv with a sea of Jewish blood, as surely as they want to massacre every Jew living in Judea and Samaria.

The Siren Wails:

I knew that the siren would go off at any moment, and yet as always, its sudden onset was somewhat startling. Instinctively I jumped to my feet like a puppet and stood silently, listening to its mournful wailing which sent goosebumps across my body in a visceral response. As I stood, I reflected on the important lessons that the erev rav (mixed multitude) purposely denies the Jewish schoolchildren of Israel. Not only on this solemn day, but on every day of their education, which is really a process of Leftist brainwashing.

Judaism abhors the spectacle of meaningless ritual. If a siren of remembrance fails to jar the senses like a shofar and act as a catalyst for introspection and repentance, then as far as yahadut is concerned, it is worse than a waste of time. Without a doubt, we have a Jewish obligation to remember the dead, but that alone is insufficient. We need to remember the following Jewish lessons that "The Ministry of Indoctrination" denies our children:

• The Land of Israel is ours. All of it. The Almighty gave it to us, and although we were punished for our sins with the destruction of the Temple and our dispersal across the world, He has returned it to us. We have no right to relinquish any part of it.

• The Holy Land is under assault by the hordes of Ishmael and Esau. We face the battles of Purim (a genocidal enemy) and of Chanukah (a spiritual enemy) at the same time. And while our enemies rip and tear at us, the mixed multitude hunts us down and ties our hands.

• The Arab/Islamic world is the face of Amalek. Nazis of the worst kind. To call them animals is to misunderstand what an animal is. Animals are biologically hard-wired to be creatures of instinct. There are no evil animals even among the most predatory of species. Men (and women) who shake off every semblance of humanity and don the death mask of Amalek, have nothing in common with animals. We face nothing less than an enemy who wants to exterminate us solely because we are Jews.

• There are no moderates in the Arab/Islamic world. The so-called peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan are a twisted joke. Read what the pig of Jordan has to say about us. Much like his father, this bloodthirsty Jew-hater can barely mask his hatred. He would love nothing more than another war with an Israel that is significantly weaker than it was the last time around. The citizens of Egypt and Jordan would both relish another war with us.

• Our leaders are sick men with diseased souls. The fat-faced Ehud Barak had the gall to defile the memory of the fallen soldiers by using the day as a stage to call for a "palestinian" (myths don't get capitalized) state. Our Minister of Defense. Bibi Netanyahu visits the grave of his martyred brother (may G-d avenge his blood). For what purpose? He continues to supply weapons to the same group of savages that murdered his brother. All in the name of "peace".

Meaningless Ceremony?

Across the country, schoolchildren attended powerful ceremonies today. They were reminded of the thousands of Jewish soldiers who fell in battle, but no mention of the enemy who killed them. Instead they brainwash the innocent with the insanity of "Peace Now" and the lie that "most Arabs (perhaps most of them) want peace." And after years of this insidious indoctrination, the State will hand them each a gun and send them off to die, as they face an enemy they will never understand. Many will actually feel empathy for the enemy, and show mercy to the merciless on the battlefield.

As I listened to the siren, I thought of wailing mothers and fathers, of brothers and sisters groaning in agonizing pain, as their loved ones are lowered into the earth prematurely. This is the lesson of the day. I thought of the animals who killed these heroes. I thought about Samson and King David, and of the principles of Jewish vengeance that we must internalize, if we are to erase every manifestation of chillul Hashem that stains the Holy Land. I thought of the burning desire a Jew must feel to avenge his slaughtered brothers and sisters.

The war against the L-rd and the Am Hanivchar (Chosen People) continues. Certainly, we must pay homage to those who sanctified The Almighty's name in the fight against Amalek. We also have an obligation to remember that they were killed not only by the fiends of Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, but also by the so-called "moderates" of Egypt and Jordan, who read Mein Kampf in the coffee houses of Cairo and Amman, the way normal people read fiction in Starbucks. Moderates who firmly believe (with the passion of a Polish man) that we drink blood and control world finance.

I call upon thoughtful Jews to return to the Torah and absorb its timeless lessons. To learn that authentic Jewish notions of "love" and "peace" have no commonality with the distorted versions going around that present themselves as Jewish. As Jews we have an obligation to hate the wicked. We are commanded to cultivate hatred and rage in our hearts against all the enemies of G-d and the children of Israel. Hatred for all our enemies, whether it be those who snatch Jewish souls in the streets of Jerusalem and Beersheva, or the Arab and Islamic hordes who wear the Mufti's death mask. A desire for blood-lust against the enemies of the Almighty is the most Jewish of ways to remember the fallen.

On the day that the sword of Jewish vengeance has fed and satiated itself on the blood of the wicked, when evil is destroyed for all eternity, on that day we will merit the coming of the Messiah. Only then may we pound our weapons into farm tools. Until that day, we have a fight on our hands. And no quarter may be given in the war with Amalek.

The siren of remembrance reverberated across the land today. When you heard it, were you driven by a desire to avenge the deaths of our fallen soldiers and sanctify The Almighty's name? Did the piercing cry of Yom HaZikaron remind you that our leaders are making deals with the same monsters who wear the mask of moderation while they grasp concealed daggers? If not, did you really hear the siren at all?

Yom Haatzmut is upon us. We need to avoid the terrible mistake of the chareidim who ignore the miracles that Hakadosh Baruch Hu performed for us (though we were and remain unworthy of them), as surely as we must avoid the idol-worship of mamlachtim who turned a sinful Hellenistic entity into the Kingdom of David. We need to be careful in our celebration, so that it remains one that is guided by the undiluted Halachic truth. Our prayers need to be for a true Jewish state to arise, one that is committed to Torah law and the sanctification of The Almighty's name. Nothing less than a genuine theocracy based upon Torah.

A friend directed me to the above article. As a general rule, I rarely post a link to any of "The Jewish Week's" articles, which are usually a forum for federation influenced Hellenists to bash religious Jews and distort Judaism in general. Occasionally, I read it online (I would never pay a cent for that rag) to get a sense of what's going on in the world of secular American Jewry. I found this article interesting, because I have been calling on the RCA to oust Avi Weiss from their organization, due to his numerous "progressive" actions that pose a threat to Halachic Judaism. The most notable examples within the last year have entirely crossed the line. First there was his unprecedented ordaining of a woman as a "Maharat" (a "rabbi" for all practical purposes, but at the time they were still trying to insist that it wasn't the case), and more recently, when he put aside the charade and made her a full member of his synagogue's rabbinical clergy, under her new title of "Rabbah".

If what the article is positing is true, (and I hope it is) then the RCA should stop dawdling and expel him immediately, while they still retain some semblance of credibility. Avi Weiss has been barking up this feminist tree for years without any consequence. (The RCA considered throwing him out years ago, but they backed off, due to pressure from certain individuals from within the organization.) Enough is enough. Ordaining a woman as a "Rabbi" is antithetical to the most basic concepts of yahadut, and a direct assault on Halachic Judaism.

The RCA needs to follow the lead of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah, who recently came out with a statement condemning this abomination and declaring outright that, "Any congregation with a woman in a rabbinical position of any sort cannot be considered Orthodox." (There are a great many issues that I disagree with when it comes to the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah. This is not one of them.) The RCA needs to throw him out before his contagious belief system spreads and creates another version of the heretical conservative movement. They have already waited too long.

It will speak volumes if the RCA allows Avi Weiss to remain. In my opinion, the RCA is facing a critical decision today. The Hellenists are on the march and they need to make a decision. Will they show courage and come out with an unequivocal statement fighting for Halachic Judaism even if it means that they lose the support of the more "pluralistic" members of the organization? Or will they shirk away from the issue and desecrate The Almighty's name as Halachic Judaism takes another gut shot?

Years ago, when the Lubavitcher Rebbe (of blessed memory) passed away, prominent Lubavitch personalities and organizations faced a similar moment when they neglected to condemn the heretical/idolatrous messianics in the movement, either due to similar convictions (in the majority of cases) or fear of taking an unpopular stance. As a result they lost credibility among those who have any understanding of the heresy that transpired. How the RCA responds (and silence will also constitute a response) will also resonate for years to come. The RCA needs to decide. Will they stand up for yahadut, or become partners in the continued erosion of the mesora?

Personally, I have no confidence in the RCA (or any Jewish organization for that matter). My gut tells me that they're going to bury their head in the sand and let this abomination slide. I hope they prove me wrong.

On Moral Assassinations ("P" Is For Purim)

If indeed the Mossad was involved in the recent assassination of the Hamas dog Mahmud al Mabhouh (y'mach sh'mo v'zichro), they should be applauded. It shows that the Mossad can still be ruthless when it wants to be. Israel should let the Jew-hating world rant and rave about "the Israeli bastards" without so much as a comment in response. From the world's reactions, you'd think that they assassinated Martin Luther King or the deceased idolater, "Mother" Theresa, and not a bloodthirsty terrorist who orchestrated the slaughter of Jews. The hell with world opinion. The hell with the British, and the hell with Dubai, which has become a hedonistic haven for hypocritical oil sheiks and terrorists to indulge their disgusting appetites while plotting the murder of Jews. Let these accursed Amalekites cower in fear, as they walk around with a bullseye planted between their eyes. This is the way of the Torah.

The Leftists don't like it. You know the type. The elitist Hellenists of Haifa and Tel Aviv, who read (and write for) Haaretz and Yediot Acharonot. They don't like vengeance in general. That's why they don't like Purim. They don't like merciless covert actions, which anger the Europeans and the EU, who have a propensity for getting physically ill whenever Jews fight back. It they weren't so spiritually sick, these Leftist cappuccino-drinking eunuchs would know that taking vengeance against Jew-killers is a sacred duty.

Israel should be commended on the rare occasion it does something right. (Congratulations! Killing terrorists is a good thing! Doesn't it feel good?) The policy of hunting down terrorists is supremely noble. Now they need to finish the job. Broaden the scope and frequency of such actions. Include all Fatah members on their list of things to silence, starting with the head butcher himself, Mahmoud Abbas (y'mach sh'mo v'zichro). Clean the house entirely before Passover, so that we can munch on the Korbon Pesach this year and truly know what it means to be living in a Jewish state.

When the Mossad's hands aren't shackled, it can still strike fear into the enemy. Meir Dagan should be commended for resurrecting the image of a shadowy Mossad that can gut down any terrorist in any dark corridor of the world. He seems to be doing his job well, a rarity these days in Israel. He's put a real scare into these animals, and I imagine that he smiles a lot when he's in the company of his closest friends. Kol Hakavod to him. A ruthless Mossad is something that Israel desperately needs.

May those who hunt down Jew-killers (without being hindered by politics or politicians) be strengthened and protected by The Almighty. Am Yisroel Chai!

Even as a kid, I knew something was wrong with Elton John when I saw him dressed up like Chicita Banana on "The Muppet Show." Elton John is scheduled to play a concert in Tel Aviv this summer. It's bad enough that the repulsive queer culture has permeated the Holy Land. The last thing Israel needs is for the Queen of Pop himself to come and spread his Sodomite message. I just read about a group of anti-semitic British "academics" who are pressuring the screwball to cancel the performance. They don't want him to come, and neither do I. Let's hope their efforts pay off.

A tragic day for the Jewish people. I predicted this many years ago about Avi Weiss, The Hebrew Institute, and more recently "Yeshivat Chovevei Torah." (What a sick joke. If this is a yeshiva, then JTS is one as well.) Common sense and logic indicated that this was where this "open-modern-orthodoxy" (or whatever the hell they call it) was heading. After many years of absorbing and perpetuating the Hellenistic notions of feminism, pluralism, and progressive values, Avi Weiss has finally stepped off the cliff. By officially recognizing Sara Hurwitz as a "Rabbah", he and his followers, as well as all the institutions affiliated with him, have officially severed themselves from the camp of those who believe in the revelation at Mount Sinai. What can I say? Ordaining women as "rabbis" has always been a basic indicator in the Torah world. It indicates a clear break-off from Halachah.

"This will make it clear to everyone that Sara Hurwitz is a full member of our rabbinic staff, a rabbi with the additional quality of a distinct woman’s voice," said the statement issued by Weiss' office.

I was wrong about one thing. I never thought that he would have the courage to take the final leap himself. At least not until he was very old and out of the public eye. I guess by giving him the benefit of the doubt, I misjudged his "courage" to follow the distorted logic of his arguments and carry it through to it's conclusion.

There are those who will find my words troubling based upon feelings they have for Avi Weiss. They will cite his many actions on behalf of Jews over the years, and question our right to attack the man. As if the one justifies the other. Let me just say that as opposed as I am to many of Avi Weiss's beliefs and actions, I respect his past activism on behalf of Jews (not Arabs!), despite the fact that his efforts were guided (or misguided) by such un-Jewish principles as pacifism and pluralism. Unfortunately, all too often he was a vehicle for perpetuating these foreign ideas on the world stage and presenting them as Jewish. Furthermore, each time gentiles harassed him during the course of his activism, and he responded like the accursed decrepit idolater Gandhi, G-d's name was disgraced by the image of weakling Jewish pacifists being knocked around by anti-semites. Nevertheless, I will not deny his intrinsic Ahavat Yisroel (love of fellow Jews), even if it was and is terribly distorted and misunderstood. I can't dismiss the fact that too many Jews, (religious and otherwise) ignored and continue to ignore their brothers and sisters. Obviously, this is a far cry from Rav Kahane's authentic Torah -based love of Jews and his mind-boggling mesirat nefesh (self-sacrifice), but nevertheless, it is one which we are forbidden to deny.

Of course this is completely irrelevant to the issue I am addressing. The other side of Avi Weiss can also not be ignored. The side of the public distorter of yahadut, who engages in the most repugnant forms of interfaith-dialogue, and dare I say it, worship. The corrupter of basic Jewish ideas who strays from the Halachic path and goes the way of the feminist who thinks the Torah is some outdated chauvinistic manual. The side of a man who has essentially created another Jewish sect, that just snapped off the healthy Jewish body and went it's own way into the abyss. In this sense, Avi Weiss has gone the way of "rabbis" Yitz Greenberg and David Hartman who made careers out of distorting Rav Soloveitchik's words. Way off the deep end.

I will never apologize for my zealous indignation when The Almighty's name is disgraced. As a general rule, I hate to bash Rabbis who have undergone Rabbinical ordination from "orthodox institutions". Even if I vehemently disagree with them, if the contrary position is grounded in Halachah and the Rav is committed to Yahadut, I will stick to the issue and not condemn the man. But there is a point when one goes to far. At this stage, the gloves come off. Some real life examples of the kinds of actions I am talking about. When an "orthodox Rabbi" 1) enters a church, 2) calls Jesus (may his name and memory be erased!) a "Rabbi", or ordains a woman as a "Rabbah."

Today's prominent poskim (Halachic decisors) must not let this unprecedented desecration of The Almighty's name go unanswered. Now is the time for a loud and unanimous declaration that this and similar actions are against the Torah. The first institutions to condemn this should be the Orthodox Union and the RCA. The Hebrew Institute should be bounced out of the OU. I'm waiting with bated breath.

Thanks to "The World's Biggest Houston Rockets Fan" (I don't know if he wants me using his real name) for forwarding me this article. It's not a happy article. But evading the issue (as well as other "uncomfortable issues" (as Rav Kahane referred to them), is the essence of Jewish cowardice and intellectual dishonesty. It's a sad day for those who care about Am Yisroel.
